Gerald F. Dusing is a Member at Adams, Stepner, Woltermann & Dusing, PLLC.  A very experienced trial attorney, he has represented a vast array of clients over almost 40 years in all areas of litigation including complex Commercial Litigation, Products Liability, Insurance, Class Actions, Construction Law, Personal Injury, School and Education Law, Zoning, Real Estate Development and Administrative Law, that has included both trial and appellate representation.

Gerry has become the preferred counsel to clients involved in litigation in federal and state courts in Kentucky; he has guided firm clients through the complexities of litigation in significant exposure cases and negotiated extensively for clients facing litigation.  He has been sought out by many of the region’s largest companies to serve as local Kentucky and Ohio counsel.

In the firm’s Real Estate development practice, Gerry represents local and regional companies through the maze of administrative and legislative agencies on zoning issues throughout Kentucky.  He has successfully negotiated settlements with Planning and Zoning Commissions on behalf of developers, corporate owners, investors and manufacturers.

By overseeing the firm’s Government Practice Group, Gerry has represented and coordinated representation of most of the firm’s public sector clients providing counseling on day-to-day legal and administrative issues and concerns.  His representation of public sector clients includes serving in a general counsel capacity for cities, counties and school districts.

For a quarter century, he has devoted extensive energy to representing local school boards and serving as General Counsel to Boards of Education and Superintendents throughout Kentucky.  On a regular basis, Gerry provides day-to-day advice to school superintendents and school board members, and he has given advice and guidance on personnel matters, student and employee discipline and due process hearings.  His group has given in-service training programs to school personnel on issues such as student rights, student discipline, employee discipline, employee evaluations, and updates on the ever changing educational laws.
