LEGACY
Jason C. Kuhlman is a Partner in the Civil Litigation practice group of Adams, Stepner, Woltermann & Dusing, PLLC. He has guided and advised businesses, public entities, and individuals through formal civil litigation in state and federal courts, administrative proceedings, and alternative dispute resolution processes to achieve favorable resolutions to a variety of business and professional disputes. Jason’s experience allows him to develop successful litigation and dispute resolution strategies in many settings, and to help clients of all levels of legal sophistication understand complex issues, assess risk, and navigate legal proceedings.
Jason has represented local, national, and international businesses in defending, as well as pursuing, claims involving disputes over contracts, intellectual property, and tortuous business interference. He has successfully defended or resolved disputes over real estate transactions, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, and has represented the interests of both insurers and insureds in insurance coverage disputes and bad faith claims. In representing his clients, Jason has conducted discovery across the United States and in Canada, and has been admitted to practice pro hac vice before Federal courts in California, Minnesota, and Utah.
Jason also has substantial experience representing public entities, public officials, and local governments in matters as diverse as contract and procurement disputes, employment matters, wrongful death claims, and eminent domain proceedings.
While in law school, Jason’s case comment, ”Pneumo Abex Corp. v. High Point, Thomasville, & Denton Railroad, and CERCLA ‘Arranger Liability,’” was published by the University of Kentucky College of Law’s Journal of Natural Resources and Environmental Law. Jason served as the Notes Editor of the Journal during his third year of law school. Jason also earned CALI awards for his performance in his Real Estate Transactions and Anti-Discrimination Seminar classes.
Jason resides in Hebron, Kentucky, with his wife, Olivia, and their two children. An avid snow skier, Jason is a regular visitor to the Rocky Mountain region of the United States.
