9/30/11 – Adams Stepner Attorneys and Staff Contribute to the Sue Wagner “Stock the Pantry” Project at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Newport, Kentucky
In memory of Sue Wagner, a long-time employee of Adams, Stepner, Woltermann & Dusing PLLC, who passed away from breast cancer in August 2010, the firm and its employees assisted Sue’s church last month in filling the shelves of its food pantry that serves the poor. Of those participating in the project, Sue’s family said,
“What began as a way to honor the memory of Sue Wagner on the anniversary of her death, became a community uniting in a way that far exceeded our expectations. Thanks to your amazing generosity, the shelves at the food pantry are over-flowing, and we also raised nearly $1,000 to restock the pantry in the coming months. What we expected to be a sad day was instead filled with tears of joy at what we accomplished in the memory of a woman who always put others before herself. Thank you.”
